Leonard Adleman was born on December 31st, 1945. He went to study computer science in the University of California. He went on to recieve a bachelor's degree in 1968 and a doctorate in 1976. Leonard was one of the first creators of the RSA encryption algorithim. RSA encrypton algorithim as a type of public-key encryption algorithim. The public key is used for encryption. After such an invention he went on to win the 1997 MIT RSA Chair. He was also awarded the 2000 Univesity of Southern California Distinguished Professor award after his excelent academic proficiency in the institution.
